At Sunny & Lauren’s we pride ourselves on helping our clients achieve the change they wish to see in their life. This extends beyond weight loss. We focus on strength, both mentally and physically, as well as helping individuals live a pain free life. After setting specific and realistic goals with each client, individualized programs are developed to lead toward personal achievement.

We offer both in-person and virtual sessions as well as individualized online programming to accommodate your lifestyle.

MEET OUR TRAINERS

We pride ourselves in providing a home for Nationally Certified Personal Trainers who are passionate about achievement of both their own and their client’s goals. Each trainer’s expertise brings a unique approach to their training style allowing for a diverse dynamic within the studio!

Lauren Bearnarth

Lauren attended Towson University where she earned her Bachelor of Science in Business Management. She has been in the Health and Wellness industry since the age of 14 where she worked in a Day Spa. After a tragic car accident left her with a broken back, she realized becoming “strong” was no longer an option. As she became physically stronger she realized the great deal of mental strength she was gaining as a result. She decided she wanted to share this passion with the world and became a NASM Certified Personal Trainer.

Lauren has worked with clients of many types. Whether it be to increase athletic performance, avoid risk of injury, help live pain free, lose weight, gain weight, or gain confidence, she truly believes her strength and conditioning programs will lead you to where you want to be. Her energy and motivation are contagious. You will leave feeling great and look forward to coming back!

Saunvah Hamidi

Saunvah, AKA Sunny, graduated from UMD with a B.S. in Community and Behavioral Health. She is an ACE Certified Personal Trainer and holds a Precision Nutrition Level 1 certification as well as a CHES. She has education and experience with TRX and Trigger point therapy. She has worked with a variety of clients across all age groups with a variety of goals; from individuals looking to lose or gain weight to individuals looking to improve balance, flexibility or athletic abilities. Considering herself a "hybrid athlete," she enjoys all aspects of training; from bodyweight training to weightlifting to high intensity crossfit style training. With a strong passion for health and fitness, she strives to push and motivate clients to live a balanced and healthy lifestyle throughout their fitness journey.

Sameer Manipady

My name is Sameer Manipady. I am a NASM-CPT, Animal Flow instructor, and Steel Mace Flow coach. I’m the owner of Practical Movement Method LLC and have offerings at Sunny and Lauren’s at-home, and online. I started this career path after a nearly fatal head on motorcycle accident. My focus is to help and guide clients to achieve resilient, strong, and functional bodies. I enjoy obstacle course races, rock climbing, kayaking, mountaineering, and any outdoor pursuits. I am committed to supporting my clients health/wellness journey no matter the starting point. Lao Tsu said, “every 1,000 mile journey begins with a single step.”

Troy Wentzlaff

Kurt Gelinas

I am an AIS certified stretch therapist and NASM certified personal trainer. I have worked in the fitness industry for 14 years and counting. My stretch certification is in Active Isolated Stretching. It is the Aaron Mattes technique based out of Sarasota, Florida. A few things that I can help improve include rotational movement such as your golf swing, neck/shoulder impingements, plantar fasciitis, tennis/golfers’ elbow, sciatica, full-body flexibility.

My fitness journey began in Connecticut in 2009, then moved to Florida in 2022, and finally to Maryland in 2023. I have worked with all walks of life ranging from young athletes to the senior population. I am comfortable consulting with your chiropractor, physical therapist, massage therapist, or doctors to ensure that you are getting the best results possible when it comes to your health.

HOW WE MET

I bet you can’t guess how we met?! If you guessed “at the gym”... you’re correct! After doing a few workouts together we discovered that not only did our energy, workout styles, and passion for helping others compliment one another, but so did our career goals. We both envisioned owning our own fitness space in the future. In the few years we have known each other, we have become the best of friends, roommates, and now partners in business ownership.
